Emergency Appointments

Emergency Dental Appointments

Emergency appointments are available for urgent dental problems, including:

  • Painful swellings of the face or gums
  • Severe toothache
  • Dental trauma (such as a knocked-out or broken tooth)

If pain is not improving with pain relief and is keeping you awake at night, this would be considered urgent.

Please contact the practice from 8:30am to request an emergency appointment. Appointments are allocated based on clinical need and availability.

Please note that emergency appointments are chargeable.

If you require urgent dental care outside of our opening hours, please contact NHS 111 for advice.

Private Dental Appointments – Fast & Flexible

Private emergency appointments for new patients start from £60.00
(X-rays not included).

For quicker access and greater flexibility, we recommend booking a private appointment online. Our Book Online tab allows you to choose a convenient time without waiting on the phone.

Any treatment required will be clearly explained with costs outlined in advance, so you can make an informed decision with no surprises.

Non-Urgent Dental Appointments

The following issues are not usually classed as dental emergencies and can be seen during a routine appointment:

  • Broken fillings with little or no sensitivity
  • Loose or lost crowns
  • Broken or damaged dentures

If these problems are not causing significant pain, swelling, or infection, they do not require emergency care.
